AI Transparency

AI Transparency

How I Use Artificial Intelligence on Gadget Tester.

In short

  • I write my texts myself. Experiences, tests, opinions, and photos come from me.
  • AI is my tool, not my author. I use AI tools for phrasing, spelling, structure, and as a research aid. Every text is read, reviewed, and approved by me – the editorial responsibility lies with me.
  • Images: Occasionally, I use AI-generated images, for example as icons or featured images. I label these directly on the image or in the caption with “AI-generated”.
  • No AI Fakes: Test photos, screenshots, and measurements are real. An AI-generated image never shows a supposed test result or a device that I haven’t held in my hand.
  • Prices and Facts I check myself and date offers, as they change quickly.

Which tools I use

I use language models for texts (such as Claude) and image generators like Kling AI for images. The tools change over time – the principle remains: AI assists with the craft, while content and opinion come from me.

Why I Disclose This

As of August 2, 2026, the transparency obligations from Article 50 of the EU AI Regulation (AI Act) apply. Thereafter, AI-generated or AI-altered images, videos, and audio recordings must be labeled if they could appear authentic. The obligation does not apply to texts that have been editorially reviewed by a human and for which someone takes responsibility for the publication – that is me here.

I still keep the use of AI open for everything because I believe you should know how the content is created.
